Born too late for Woodstock and too early
for the Age of Aquarius.
I was born and raised in upstate NY and settled in NJ when I was 21.
I am a country boy at heart and am still trying to get the city to
grow on me. From the age of 16 until I was 21 I spent most of my
time hitch-hiking around the country, going to Rainbow gatherings
and spent a little time in Mexico.
I am (luckily) happy with my job, and with my views and would like
to find someone who shares many of them (Atheism, Peace, Equality,
Sustainability, etc.).
I am the librarian of a million dollar collection of rare Atheist
and Free-Thought literature, the computer administrator and also the
producer of our television show, The Atheist Viewpoint. I also host
and helped to develop the website for the Woodstock Preservation
Archives, the organization that fought to have the 1969 Woodstock
site declared an historic site for preservation.
As an Atheist, I hate to admit it, but if you want to know me, just
look up the
Aquarius personality in Astrology. (If it works, don't knock it)
Likes:
Music - Old Metallica, Megadeth, Tool, and most of the
classic rock (Pink Floyd, The Who) and later rock bands and of
course, Bob Marley.
Activities - The outdoors, hiking, camping, canoeing, etc.
Non-competitive sports, rock climbing, hacky sack, target shooting
with my compound bow, skateboarding, Chess, Pool, Exploring NYC.
Comedy - South Park, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, Cheech &
Chong, Office Space, George Carlin, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, etc.
Documentaries/Books - Peak Oil (Mike Ruppert), 911 (Loose
Change), Global Conspiracies (Zeitgeist), Sustainable living (Permaculture),
A Peoples History of the United States (Howard Zinn), Confessions Of
An Economic Hit Man, The Occupation of Palestine/Iraq, Science,
Nature, String Theory, the Universe, etc.
Diet - I try to eat vegetarian as much as possible, but my
desire for bacon sometimes (often) overpowers my will.
Dislikes:
I do not like competitive sports, seafood or resource wasting
activities like hotrods, Harleys and NASCAAR. But can and do work on
my own car. I do not watch television (Except Lost, if they ever
start the next season), only movies or documentaries. Extreme
religiosity, ignorance of the history and foundations of our country
(USA), willful ignorance and prejudice in general, disrespect of our
environment. If you have 'Shopping' listed as an interest, we
probably aren't going to hit it off.
Aggressiveness:
I am a non-violent pacifist, but I am not a wimp. I believe that
bullies can only be dealt with on their own terms. You cannot reason
with the unreasonable. You must get back in their face and let them
know you are not going to put up with their crap. In most cases, a
person like this does not want to fight, they just want to dominate.
This usually stems from an abusive relationship with their father,
or other person in their life that leaves them feeling insecure.
Sexuality:
I am a very sexual person, but I do not make it a priority in
conversation. I do not believe it is something you discuss with
someone you have just met. It is an issue that is reserved for the
time when the attraction is obvious and you are ready for
commitment. For a man pleasure is extremely easy to achieve. So in
sex I do not concern myself with my own climax, that will happen
without issue. I do concern myself with the women’s pleasure as this
is what is truly exciting to me. If the women is not having a good
time than I am not having a good time. This is a time as always,
when communication is important.
Looking For:
I am looking for an independent woman who is self supporting and
likes to have good times. She must enjoy the outdoors and at the
same time, cuddling in front of the TV to watch a movie. She must
not be apprehensive about her body or sexually inhibited.
Preferences: that will help a lot but are not in any way
prerequisites: Long Black Hair - Aquarius/Gemini/Libra - Blue or
Green Eyes - Aggressively Non Religious - Intelligent - Night Owl -
Passionate About Politics And Human Rights.
Goals:
Short Term: Save money.
Midterm: Fall in love with a beautiful (inside, outside would be
nice too, but not necessary) woman.
Long Term: To buy some land in a Leftist/Liberal South American
country to relax and enjoy the warm weather, take long walks in the
jungle and trips to the beach. Or join an earthship community in New
Mexico.
Politics:
I am an independent who finds voting to be absolutely worthless.
There is a system in place that is devouring our environment,
degrading our educational system and erasing our history. Who is 'in
charge' of this system is irrelevant. Conservatives have become the
biggest spenders and profligators of war while the 'liberals' have
supported the 'America Inc.' philosophy of corporate rule known as
Fascism, allowing our constitutional rights to be denied in the face
of insecurities we have engendered throughout the world with our
misguided foreign policy. The politicians preach democracy and
capitalism for the poor while the rich are subsidized and the failed
economy upheld by the backs of the tax payers (Socialism for the
rich). The only solution is a bottom up approach which will never
happen because it will disempower all of the worthless politicians
and corporate pigs (Weapons Manufacturers, Mercenaries, BlackWater,
KBR, The Carlyle Group, CIA, FBI, DEA, etc.) who currently run the
global operating paradigm.
In a nutshell, our ‘civilized’ world is still ruled by nothing more
than sophisticated bullies and financial intimidation.
What can you do about this? Laugh. Evolution is slow,
smallpox is fast. (Ok, I stole that one from George Carlin)

(You are here)illdill is just an original word I made up
(back in '02) so that when people search for it, they are sure to
find me. Since then, others have used it, but I still come up first
on a google search. I like the herb Dill (Yes, I can cook), so
that's about the only relevant meaning to it. I always try to spell
it with a lowercase i. I own the .net and .org names.
