| The two
considerable methods are jarring and freezing. I recommend a combination
of both (some things keep better in jars). If power is limited, just go
with jarring.
Jarring: - Simple. Look here for more information on Jarring. Downfall - glass. Freezing: - The best thing to have for this method is the sealable plastic bag machine. Off course you have to order new plsatic from the company. Also Zip-Lock bags. Build a small freezer room with over-excessive insulation, preferably underground. use a standard freezer unit and modify it. (remove door and custom fit to freezer room) leave back of unit facing outside of the freezer room with plenty of open air access. Dedicate one wall to a couple shelves of full, frozen water containers to take some of the burden off the freezer. Downfall - Power hungry.
